Yes, it is true that seldom it happens that childhood dreams gets fulfilled.

But if we are really mature then we know that in this world what we can give to our best is an altogether different thing.

So I chose to give the best that I can instead of chasing my dream. And in return I found Osho’s suggestions so useful that I applied them in my life. Being an authentic person I could journey from sex to super consciousness unknowingly following path of Tantra.

I write in Hindi also with a podcast on Substack in Hindi too.

The alternative to not dreaming can be saddening, i.e. giving up on your dreams, yet the wrong kind of dreaming can turn reality into a nightmare, i.e. dreaming of the unattainable. Figuring out what the right dreams are is so important, and so difficult. Impossible - I believe - without continuous efforts of introspection

Well written Yash (hope you don’t mind the shortening), I think dreams only die when we let them. When we decide they are impractical or impossible. When we listen to ration and sense, when we ignore our guts, our spirits, our souls. These are our compasses in life—and when we listen elsewhere, to the money, to the fame, fortune, success, that yearning for more, that is when dreams fade.

We feel stuck if we let go of the fire inside our souls, when we allow days, weeks, months to pass without investing in our expression. “I’ll get to it later…” that is what kills dreams. The process is the dream, not the result.

Thank you and well said, Andrew! It is definitely difficult, especially when constantly fighting both internal and external resistance, but it is crucial to keep going. (Yash is what everyone calls me!)
